Shares of Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) jumped over 3% in intraday trade on Tuesday, April 22, after the company fixed April 27 as the date for its board meeting regarding the declaration of financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2025, and final dividend.
“This is to inform that meeting of the Board of Directors is scheduled to be held on April 27, 2025, inter-alia to consider and approve standalone and consolidated Audited Financial Results for the quarter/year ended March 31, 2025 and also to consider recommendation of final dividend for the Financial Year 2024-25,” IGL said in an exchange filing today.

IGL Q4 Results PreviewKotak Institutional Equities (KIE) expects IGL's profit after tax (PAT) to decline by 14.6% on a year-on-year (YoY) basis to ₹430.6 crore in the fourth quarter of FY25. The figure could see an uptick of 8.4% on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, the brokerage estimated.
It sees net sales growing 8.4% YoY and 3.7% QoQ to ₹3898.5 crore for the quarter ended March 2025.
"We expect IGL's EBITDA to recover 12% QoQ (down 22% YoY). Partial reversal of APM de-allocation from mid-January and higher availability of APM on lower offtake in fertilisers will give relief. However, the impact will be partly offset by higher LNG prices and a weaker rupee. IGL took only modest ₹1-2/kg price increases in NCR areas (none in the key Delhi NCT)," KIE said.
IGL Dividend HistoryIGL is a prominent dividend-paying stock, with a dividend yield of 5.62% in the last 12 months, according to Trendlyne data.
Indraprastha Gas has declared 25 dividends since September 2004. Meanwhile, in the past 12 months, Indraprastha Gas has declared an equity dividend amounting to ₹10.50 per share.
The last dividend declared by IGL was of ₹5.50 per share, with the record date set as November 12, 2024.
