India’s star cricketer Shubman Gill has been making headlines not just for his performances on the field, but also for his dating life. Interestingly, the Gujarat Titans (GT) captain has been rumoured to be linked with Sara Tendulkar, Sara Ali Khan, and several other celebrities.
Gill has finally opened up about all the gossip and has cleared the air by revealing that he has been single for more than three years now. In an interview with The Hollywood Report India, Gill labelled the dating rumours as completely 'ridiculous'.

“I mean, I’ve been single for over three years, and so many speculations and rumours link me with different people. Sometimes, it’s so ridiculous that I would have never even seen or met that person ever in my life,” Gill was quoted as saying.
“I know I’m so focused on what I need to do in my professional career. There is no space in my life to be with someone. We are travelling somewhere around 300 days a year, so there is hardly any time to be able to be with someone or invest the time needed for a relationship,” he added.

Coming to the game, the 25-year-old star recently added another feather to his cap by winning the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 with India. Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, Men in Blue lifted the trophy without losing a single match. Gill was also part of the 2023 ODI World Cup squad that reached the final undefeated, only to fall short against Australia in the summit clash.

Currently, Gill is leading the Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season, captaining the side for the second consecutive year. GT are sitting comfortably at the top of the points table, having secured 12 points from 8 matches. Individually, Gill is enjoying a stellar run with the bat, amassing 305 runs in 8 innings at an impressive average of 43.57 and a striking strike rate of 153.26. He has already notched up three half-centuries this season.
